Hey guys! My parents left this morning but we did a lot of stuff during the time they were here! It was so nice just enjoying Copenhagen like a tourist! We went to street food, Torvehallerne, Senerity cupcakes! We also took a little trip to IKEA to get a few things- everything was so nice! Today I will enjoy a bit of alone time and I need to assemble my new chairs! After 2 months they finally arrived! Have a lovely weekend everyone!:)

Today was my friends Nima's birthday! Since we are getting old, we kinda stopped the whole- huge bar party celebration so now we go out for lunch haha. New traditions I guess! So we went to Hija de Sánchez to get some Mexican food. The restaurant is a small place in kødbyen, so it is possible to sit inside- but there are only two tables! And today the weather was so nice so we stayed outside in the sun! We got a lunch menu for 150 DKK. The lunch menu is two tacos, rice and black bean sauce. We also ordered nachos- I feel like with Mexican food nachos are necessary! I love that there are constantly new restaurants opening in kødbyen. I am so lucky I live in such a vibrant area! But yeah this food was so delicious I can really recommend it to anyone! I will definitely be coming back frequently. Maybe for takeout! Because in the winter sitting outside is not very nice haha!
I love the weekend! I took this one very easy! Not much studying, a lot of sleeping and relaxing! I haven't been feeling very well for the past week so I needed to recharge! Today I took some pictures with Rose and then Tad and I went to Torvehallerne and the city Centre. The weather is starting to feel like Christmas! I am so excited for December! I might be the only person in the world that loves winter and hates summer :D! But yeah, that is how it is for me. I love when it starts being cold and the air is crispy and then being at home under a blanket with the heat on! I really miss the fireplace my parents have in their house! But thankfully I will be at home for Christmas so I can enjoy it then! Well have a nice rest of the weekend guys!;)
Happy Saturday everyone! I can't believe how beautiful the weather is today. I just love it when the air is a bit crisp but it is still sunny. I honestly can not wait for winter- days like this during the winter season are my favourite. Especially if there is snow, then I am the happiest ever. I love sitting at home under a blanket, reading a book or watching a movie with the snow outside falling. Haha I might be getting a bit ahead of myself and the time of the year- I mean it is only September! But I did find a nice cafe really close to school in Frederiskberg called Godthåb & Kaffe. It is so cozy and the ladies working there are so sweet! Ludi and I got coffee there last week so we could catch up after not seeing each other for... probably a year! I love exploring new coffee spots in Copenhagen, so I suppose I am very lucky I live in a place where there are hundreds of cool spots to find! This place gives out a really relaxing vibe! I can see myself sitting there and studying ( and the snow falling)- which I will probably start doing because I can never focus on school at home. Anyone who hasn't been there should deffinitely go!
Today I got up quite early considering it is the weekend. I think I was up around 8am- and I woke up by myself! How did that happen haha. So I have the whole day ahead of me. I want to go for a walk and maybe read a book. And in the evening some of my friends and I are going to play board games at Bastard Cafe in the city centre- we were there a few nights ago and it is so cool. I have been looking for a place where it is possible to sit with more people and talk at the table- not like what you have at bars or clubs( it is impossible to hear what the other person is saying in places like that) and since I dont drink, going out to clubs isn't as fun as it once used to be! So I am happy I found a place, which allows those who want to to drink and those who don't can have a cup of tea , while enjoying a nice conversation- and playing some board games! Have a lovely weekend everyone!
One thing that made me fall in love with Copenhagen is the inexhaustible supply of cool cafés! Seriously, just walk around a corner and you find a nice place! It astonishes me that so many different places are all going strong! But I guess the Copenhageners love them some coffee! But then again who doesn't? The last place I stumbled upon is Ricco's on Sværtegade in the city centre. Tad and I stopped there for a shopping break- and since his head was sore from banging it in a door. He actually got a bump from it :(. Ricco's is a cool place- it is a chain of coffee shops all over Copenhagen, so you are always close to a Ricco's- but even though it is a chain, each place is unique! Not like Starbucks haha ( not that I don't like Starbucks). I always get a latte- my favourite coffee. I love latte art! I think I should put " learning latte art" on my bucket-list! I find it is so cool that you can "draw" with milk. Some of the latte art creations are insane! I remember the first time I saw my friend doing this and I thought it was from another world!
Tonight I am going to listen to some Jazz with my friends Ida and Rick. There is a concert at Huset KBH and I am so excited! When I lived in the Czech Republic we would go to concerts every week- and not like big fancy concerts, but small unknown bands. I think that is probably since most of my friends are musicians and all played in bands so there was always someone I knew playing. But I have to say, now that I stopped drinking going out clubbing just isn't doing it for me- so I feel like I have to get back to my roots and start going to concerts and music events haha. I actually really miss it! Well, have a nice day everyone!!
