Since last Tuesday I have been writing on my bachelor 24/7! We were at a summer house from Tuesday until Sunday, and we were working so late that we were up until sunrise. We went to the sea and watchen the sun come up one day- we were up working until 4:30. The next day I went to sleep at 6 am. Needless to say I am pretty dead atm. But only 4 more days and we hand in whop! Then I can finally start having a life... Here are a few pics from out work- gettaway. We actually made real food one day ( the rest was frozen pizza). So yeah, my life sucks and everything is really bad :D but it is soon over! Cheers

Copenhagen, Food & Coffee

Last night Tad and I finally went out to celebrate our 3 year aniversary. We actually had it last week on the 12th but Tad was at work and I was busy bachelor writing so we decided to postpone it a little. We decided to go to Köd Vesterbro. It is a somewhat new place where they only specialise on meat( thus the name- translated means meat). So for once in my life I decided to have a steak in stead of burger- and it was totally worth it! I got a rib eye steak with pepper sauce and Tad has a New York strip with Bernaise. We also shared steak fries, a green salad and mozzarella with cherry tomatoes- so nice! Oh and as a started we had steak tartar, it was so delicious! At Köd they make it with cognac so it tastes really smooth! I need to go back soon to get a meat fix haha! But today I am off to Nima's moms place with my study group to focus 100% on the bachelor project! But there is only a few more days and then we are done and I will have a life again yay!

Travels, Paris

So it has come to this, I officially have no new photos and my life is boring so I am resorting to throwbacks haha. I have been working all the time and don't really have time to do stuff. However yesterday I went for a cocktail with Rose and Nima. We went to this really cool place called Curfew close to my apartment in Vesterbro, it was really nice to put on some make-up and look like a human, in stead of sitting in front of a computer half dead. But anyway, Curfew is such a nice place to go for a drink, it is avant-garde and super stylish. Nima got a cocktail called Amazonas and the glass was wraped in a banana leaf and had a feather tied to it. I got an "Unfaithful" with gin, cucumber and liquorice. So nice! But yeah, now I am going back to studying- only 12 days to go and then we are done whop!

Events

A very pleasant morning with champagne and nice company at the Munthe Store Opening today! Was nice to take a little break from bachelor writing and be at a nice event. The whole thing was perfect- first of all, I really like the new store, it is a bit smaller, but still has the amazing Munthe feel to it. The clothes is just amazing, I love the cool prints and flowy materials. The coolest thing though was a cookie stand from Sweet Valentine, which is an awesome cake store I have been walking past and slurping at for the past three years at Torvehallerne. Everyone could make personalised cookies- I made so many haha. I can't wait to eat one! Tonight Tad and I are having a dinner for our three year anniversary, so I am really excited! With two weeks until the bachelor hand in my group if going up North to Nima's mom's house so that we can spend some quality working time together. It feels so surreal, that in a month I will have a bachelor degree! The day we hand in our project there is a gala for our study programme and it will be so much fun! I am so ready to be done!

Copenhagen Guides, Food & Coffee

I love coffee and honestly I probably drink a way larger amount than what is healthy haha. But lately I have also switched to matcha! I put together a list of 6 places, that are all really nice and each has their own unique style. In Copenhagen there are so many different coffee places, that it is close to impossible to not find one when you are just walking around.

1. The Matcha Bar by BYOH.dk
As I mentioned previously, I live 200m away from this place, so it is really easy to go there. I love the interior and atmosphere of this place! My favourite is vanilla matcha latte.

2. Moss Eat
This place is insane! I love the interior you can see more HERE. The place is inspited by Pret a Manger and has fresh sandwiches and salads every day, which are also gluten free! It is a but out of the city centre, but still possible to walk there. Totally worth visiting.

3. The Union Kitchen
The Union Kitchen is amazing for a chill coffee but also a really nice brunch and lunch! It is close to Nyhavn, so easy to get there. I love their truffle fries!

4. Original Coffee
This place is amazing! You can find it all over Copenhagen, but my favourite place is on top of Illum. You can sit outside and enjoy a really nice view over Copenhagen. And the coffee is so delicious!

5. Big Apple Juice bar
I have passed this place so many times, but only recently did I go in for a coffee. I was lucky enough to be the only person there so I got a nice picture of the interior. You can get coffee, but also really nice juice and sandwiches!

6. Coffee Collective
My place to-go for coffee to-go haha. Located at Torvehallerne, it is such a nice place to go and sit outside and maybe also get some food. It is also possible to buy coffee beans- they have their own coffee roastery in Copenhagen.
